The Supreme Court blocked the Biden administration's Covid-related eviction moratorium on Thursday, 8/26/21 (apologies for the references in the video to “today’s” Supreme Court decision - it took me longer to finish this than I hoped).

Also, Thought Slime is non-binary, which I forgot at the time of recording, and I reflexively used he/him pronouns. I believe I once heard Thought Slime say they don’t mind he/him pronouns, so hopefully not too much offense is taken. I do apologize anyway.

BTW: Regarding the status of the third Chauvin Chunk, I am going to delay that until the case enters a more active phase since there seems to be very little interest in that content at the moment.

Here's what's new in the trial of Derek Chauvin: the prosecution protests part of the judge's sentencing order due to the appearance of racial bias against the child witnesses; and the press seeks immediate disclosure of the jurors' identities.

I have been live-solving the NYT crosswords and posting the vids to YouTube. I decided to link them to Patreon for the benefit of all the wonderful Habeas Humor patrons. On today's puzzle, I got a bunch of help from Yara, and we made excellent time on this puzzle! It's even tight enough to be a bonus episode of the HH podcast. To see the solution, go here: https://youtu.be/hopiQj-NMt4
